Partners
Rulebooks are where governance becomes enforceable.
INVARIANCE works with advisory, implementation and assurance firms. INVARIANCE supplies the independent authorization engine. Partners bring the client relationship, the regulatory knowledge and the services around it.
Advisory, implementation and assurance firms
Consultancies, systems integrators and assurance practices that help clients govern AI. This page sets out how the work divides.

Founding Agent Partner ProgramHow the work divides
INVARIANCE supplies the engine. Partners supply the services.
INVARIANCE supplies
- The authorization engine
- The rulebook standard
- Tooling to build and test rulebooks
- Technical support
Partners provide
- Readiness assessment and implementation
- Policy engineering: translating regulation, risk appetite and controls into rulebooks
- Integration with the client’s existing systems
- Ongoing governance as regulation, processes and agents change
- Independent assurance, where independence rules permit
Partners are not asked to resell software or carry product risk. The client licenses the engine from INVARIANCE, and the partner keeps the client relationship and the services.
Rulebooks
The rules an AI system works within, in a form that can be enforced.
The rules INVARIANCE enforces are held in rulebooks: the limits, approvals and escalation points that set what each AI system may do. Partners and INVARIANCE build them for individual clients and, over time, as reusable libraries for sectors such as financial services and insurance.
Independence by design
The engine is independent of everyone who writes rules for it.
Advice without control
Partners advise on rulebooks and implementation. They do not operate or control the engine that enforces them.
Authorship separate from testing
The team that writes a client’s rulebooks does not provide independent assurance over them.
A record worth testing
Every permit and denial records the rule applied and the rulebook version in force, so assurance examines what the controls did, not only what the policy says.
How a partnership starts
A discussion and a live demonstration.
The first step is a conversation and a live demonstration of a permit, a denial and the resulting record, which takes about fifteen minutes. If both sides want to go further, the next step is one client use case, one rulebook built and tested together, and a review of the decision record by a separate team.
