Why INVARIANCE exists

INVARIANCE was founded by Damian Kissane, drawing on operating experience across three heavily regulated sectors: healthcare, financial services and insurance. In each, automated decisions carry immediate and sometimes irreversible consequences. The central question is not whether a system can produce a recommendation, but whether that recommendation is authorized to act.

Building production clinical AI at VETPASS exposed a consistent structural gap. Models produced increasingly capable outputs, yet no independent layer decided whether those outputs were allowed to take effect. INVARIANCE is that layer.
